
Dr. Nduka Amankulor, MD

Dr. Amankulor is Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery and the Associate Director of Adult Neurosurgical Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is also Assistant Professor of Clinical and Translational Science. His specialty is the surgical treatment of complex brain and spine tumors. In addition to his clinical practice, he is a cancer biologist. His research focuses on the biological underpinnings of gliomas and metastatic brain tumors. He received his medical degree and neurosurgical training from the Yale University School of Medicine, prior to completing a clinical fellowship in neurosurgical oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the Society for Neuro-Oncology, in addition to authoring numerous peer-reviewed publications.
