Dr. Nicholas O. Jensen, Ph.D.

Director of Science & Robotics

Dr. Jensen has a decade of experience writing software (robotics, bioinformatics, computational biology, and mobile apps). During his doctorate research in computational biology, he developed an open-source software package to evaluate zebrafish swim performance as they recover from spinal cord injury. Dr. Jensen has received training in leadership and entrepreneurship while a Pivot 314 Fellow (2021), Medical Robotics Fellow (2023), and as a participant in the NIH NHLBI C3i program (2023-2024). As an intern, consultant, fellow, and now full-time employee at UN&UP, he leads robotics projects and champions the company’s Corbot™ platform.
