The ThromBot™ Vision: A CEO-Led Session with Our Summer Interns.
At UN&UP, we believe that understanding the why behind our work is just as important as understanding the how.
As part of our Summer Internship Program, our CEO, Dr. Francis Creighton, presented an in-depth overview of ThromBot™, sharing the vision, science, engineering, and commercialization strategy behind one of our groundbreaking medical device technologies. Beyond the technology itself, interns gained valuable insight into the journey of translating innovation from concept to commercialization, including the clinical need, product development process, regulatory considerations, fundraising, and what it takes to effectively communicate the value of a medical device to investors and stakeholders.
The question-and-answer session gave our interns the opportunity to engage directly with leadership through thoughtful discussions, showcasing their curiosity about the challenges and opportunities in medical device innovation. We were also pleased to have our Co-Founder, Peter Finley, in attendance, whose ingenuity and insights further enriched the discussion.
The feedback from our interns was overwhelmingly positive, reinforcing the value of connecting them with our leadership and mission from the very beginning. This session has already proven to be an impactful addition to the UNandUP internship experience.
