UNandUP Partners with STL CAPS to Support Future Biomedical Engineers

UNandUP is proud to partner with the St. Louis CAPS (Centers for Advanced Professional Studies), a nationally recognized, profession-based learning program that immerses high school students across the Affton, Bayless, Kirkwood, Lindbergh, and Mehlville school districts in real-world professional environments.

Through hands-on projects, mentorship from industry professionals, and exposure to high-demand career pathways, STL CAPS prepares students for future success while allowing them to earn high school and, in some cases, college credit. The program exemplifies how business, community, and public education can work together to build the workforce of tomorrow.

We are pleased to begin this collaboration with our first set of STL CAPS students: Allison Neaf and Kristina Campbell.

This has been made possible with the support of Gavin Grillo, Engineering & Technology Design and Development Instructor at STL CAPS. And this partnership reflects our commitment to developing the next generation of biomedical engineers and innovators.
