UN&UP Announces a successful collaboration with the UIUC Gies College of Business.

UN&UP is pleased to highlight the successful collaboration with the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Gies College of Business facilitated through the Magelli Office of Experiential Learning.

In December, a multidisciplinary student team—Henrik Weidemanis, Zach Valk, Brett Mobily, Kevin Breen, Alex Hidrogo, and Mengjia Sun—concluded a semester-long engagement supporting market research and customer discovery for UN&UP’s novel rotational atherectomy technologies focused on addressing unmet clinical needs in underserved populations.

Throughout the project, the team gained hands-on experience in project scoping, cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and business consulting, while delivering actionable market insights and customer feedback. Their contributions are helping to inform key strategic and commercialization decisions as UN&UP advances its mission to reduce disparities in care.

A special thank you to UN&UP Project Engineer, Matthew De Venecia, whose facilitation and technical support were instrumental in the success of this collaboration.

We are grateful for this impactful partnership with UIUC Gies and the Magelli Office of Experiential Learning and commend the students for their professionalism, dedication, and high-quality work throughout the engagement.
