UNandUP Project Engineer, Matthew De Venecia, Completes Startup Development Program

We’re thrilled to celebrate our Project Engineer, Matthew De Venecia, as he successfully completes the Square One program this week. The 10-week, 50-hour initiative is a start-up development program, sponsored by the Cortex Innovation District and designed to equip emerging professionals with the essentials of entrepreneurship.
Over the past several weeks, Matthew has collaborated with industry experts, explored key resources within the St. Louis entrepreneurial ecosystem, and strengthened his business acumen through interactive workshops and mentorship sessions.
At UNandUP, we are deeply committed to fostering the growth of early-career professionals. Matthew’s participation in Square One is one of several professional development opportunities made possible in part through his National Institutes of Health (NIH) supplement grant, which supports experiences that expand his entrepreneurial skills and leadership.
We look forward to supporting Matthew as he continues to build his network and grow as an innovator and leader.
