UNandUP Welcomes Our 2025 Summer Intern Cohort!

We’re proud to introduce the bright minds joining our team this summer as part of our continued collaboration with Washington University in St. Louis:

Please join us in recognizing this next generation of talented engineers—including two returning interns.

L-R: Cora Johnson, Pierce Dudek, Liana Reyes, Adara Ezekwe

Ms. Liana Reyes is a rising senior studying Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Materials Science and Engineering. Passionate about electrophysiology and heart structure, Liana brings energy to both science and community through mentoring via the WashU SMARC program.

Ms. Adara Ezekwe recently graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and a minor in Biomedical Data Science as a William H. Danforth Scholar. Now pursuing her M.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Adara brings entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on experience in medical device prototyping to our team.

Ms. Cora Johnson, a rising junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Bioinformatics, returns after working with our TheraLode™ team throughout the past year following her 2024 summer internship.

We are also thrilled to welcome Mr. Pierce Dudek, who graduated in May 2025 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and is also rejoining us after contributing to our BME Fall 2024 Senior Design Project, which developed a magnetic nanoparticle delivery system for frostbite treatment.

We’re thrilled to have these passionate individuals on board and can’t wait to see the innovation and impact they’ll bring to our work this summer!

A special thank you to Dr. Lori Setton and Dr. Joseph Klaesner of the Biomedical Engineering Program, at Washington University in St. Louis for making this program possible.
