UNandUP welcomes our returning Interns—Pierce Dudek and Cora Johnson!

We’re thrilled to welcome back two exceptional interns—Pierce Dudek and Cora Johnson—to our summer team!

Pierce Dudek recently graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in biomedical engineering. He was part of our Fall BME design team that developed a magnetic collection system for delivering thrombolytic-conjugated iron oxide nanoparticles to treat cold weather injuries like frostbite. This summer, he joins our TheraLode™ team, bringing hands-on experience in rapid prototyping and nanoparticle synthesis to help advance our platform.

Cora Johnson is a rising junior at WashU, majoring in biomedical engineering with a minor in bioinformatics. She began working with UN&UP through the WashU BME Internship Program and has continued contributing throughout the school year. Now back full-time for the summer, Cora is excited to continue working with the TheraLode™ team and deepen her impact through innovation.

Please join us in celebrating their return and all they’re sure to accomplish this summer!
